The aim of this project was to reverse engineer an everyday object. I chose the double edge safety razor. As part of the deconstruction, I produced four drawings illustrating the process involved in making a safety razor. These drawings show an overview of the process of its manufacturing. I was amazed at the simplicity and efficiency of the design. I presented the straight edge as an interesting detail to the success of the safety razor. This was an exercise in reverse engineering.
